Sessions in English are mainly conducted in this language. But everyone is welcome, regardless of the language they speak. We organize them occasionally so that both people who do not speak Catalan/Spanish and those who want to practice English, can come. But everyone is welcome, our artists speak English, Catalan and Spanish. Therefore they can give the instructions in the language that is needed, no problem!
Henri Matisse (1869 – 1954) was one of the most prominent French painters of the 20th century, for his pioneering role in the emergence of the avant-garde, together with his friend and rival Picasso. He created Fauvism, an artistic movement dominated by the free use of color and expressive vigor. He exhibited his work in numerous countries, establishing himself as a central figure in avant-garde art. Always defending art as an aesthetic and enjoyment tool for the creator and the observer.
