The cathedral of Girona, located at the highest point of the city, is one of the most characteristic elements of the city. Its construction began in the 11th century in the Romanesque style, and followed in the 13th century with the Gothic. Conserving only the Romanesque-style cloister and tower. It was completed in the 18th century. Something that makes it unique is the fact that it has the widest Gothic nave in the world, with a total width of 22.98 meters.
